DRESS CODE POLICY
At BCCDV, our dress code ensures that students can dance and perform safely, confidently, and with professionalism. Proper attire supports proper technique—and also promotes unity and focus in every class.
Please review the dress code guidelines by class type before arriving for your lesson.
DRESS CODE FOR 10 & UNDER BALLET, TAP, AND JAZZ STUDENTS

Hair pulled up and off the face and neck - Black Leotard - Black or Pink Skirt (Optional) - Pink Footed Dance Tights - Black Jazz Shorts or Capris (Optional) - Pink Leather Ballet Shoes - Black Tap Shoes - Black Slip-on Leather Jazz Shoes
DRESS CODE FOR 11 AND UP BALLET, TAP, JAZZ, & LYRICAL STUDENTS

Hair pulled up and off the face and neck - Black Leotard - Black Athletic Bra - Pink, Tan, or Black Dance Tights - Dance Shorts (Optional) - Must be short and tight fitting - Dance Capris (Optional) - Must show calf and ankle and be tight fitting - Pink Leather Ballet Shoes - Slip-on Dance Paws for Lyrical - NO loose-fitting clothing or other attire that is not on this list (Tank Tops and Shoes are handwritten exceptions noted)
Dress Code for Hip Hop STUDENTS

Advanced Hip Hop Students must wear solid black dance sneakers.

Intermediate Hip Hop Students must wear dance sneakers or tennis shoes.

Any comfortable, moveable clothing is acceptable. No color specifications.
